Configuring Mac Mail
Mac Mail is an excellent tool with which to use Feedmailr. To configure your account go to Mail->Preferences
and select the Accounts tab. Select the + button at the bottom left to add a new account. Then, follow along with
the following to set up your account.
The first screen is the general information section. Select IMAP as the account type, use a name like 'Feedmailr'
in the account description, then type in your full name and the email address you are using with your Feedmailr
account.
The next screen allows you to configure your incoming mail server. Use imap.feedmailr.com as the incoming mail
server, then use your full email address (e.g. 'address@domain.com' not just 'address') as your user name, and
finally type in your Feedmailr password.
Continue through the incoming mail security screen by accepting the defaults.
For outgoing mail, select one of your existing accounts from the menu. Ideally this would be the same account as
the email address you gave Feedmailr. Leave the username and password as the defaults.
Continue through the outgoing mail security screen by accepting the defaults.
You should end up with a summary screen that looks something like this. Continue and your account should be
ready to use!
