Configuring Thunderbird

Thunderbird is an excellent tool with which to use Feedmailr. To configure your account go to Tools->Account Settings. Select the Add Account button at the bottom left to add a new account. Then, follow along with the following to set up your account.

The first screen is the account type selection. Use the default selection of Email and continue.

The next screen allows you to set up your identity. Type in your full name and the email address you are using with your Feedmailr account.

The next screen allows you to set up your server. Select IMAP as the server type. Use imap.feedmailr.com as the incoming server. Note that you'll be using one of your existing accounts to send mail.

The next screen configures your Feedmailr user name. Use your full email address (e.g. 'address@domain.com' not just 'address') as your user name.

The next screen allows you to configure a the name which will Thunderbird will use to refer to this account. Use something like 'Feedmailr' here.

You should end up with a summary screen that looks something like this. Continue and your account should be ready to use. On the first use, you'll be asked to enter your Feedmailr password, which you can ask Thunderbird to save for future use.
